Biography
Lee Salisbury is a British television director. He studied media studies at university and began his career in factual television, working as a runner on programmes including Live and Kicking, Watchdog and Talking Telephone Numbers before progressing to researcher and assistant producer roles. He later directed factual series such as Holiday, What Not To Wear and Location, Location, Location.
Salisbury directed extensively on British soaps, helming episodes of Emmerdale (2006–2015) and EastEnders (2010–2016), including major storylines such as the Queen Vic fire and Barbara Windsor's departure. He has also directed on Coronation Street, Holby City and the true crime series Expert Witness (2021–2023). He is a BAFTA nominee.
