Biography

Lena Dahlberg-Runge, also credited as Lena Runge, is a Swedish film editor and dramaturg. She trained in film editing at the Dramatiska Institutet (now part of Stockholm University of the Arts), graduating in 1987, and has worked in the industry for over thirty years on feature films, documentaries and television series.

She has edited the majority of director Björn Runge’s feature films, including Daybreak (2003), Happy End (2011) and Burn All My Letters (2022). Her credits also include The Wife (2017), for which she is credited as editor, and consulting editor on The Most Beautiful Boy in the World (2021). She is married to Runge.

Alongside her editing career, Dahlberg-Runge is a senior lecturer at Stockholm University of the Arts and Valand Academy in Gothenburg, and holds a PhD in film editing. She received the Gulddraken prize in 2004.
