Biography
Lena Urzendowsky is a German actress. Born in Berlin on 16 February 2000, she trained at the Stage Factory Berlin theatre and musical school from 2005 and graduated in 2012. She made her screen debut in the 2014 ZDF television film Die Schneekönigin.
Urzendowsky gained attention for her leading role in the 2016 television film Das weisse Kaninchen, for which she received several awards including a Grimme Prize. She has appeared in Dark (2017), Cocoon (2020), We Children from Bahnhof Zoo (2021), From Hilde, with Love (2024) and Rabia (2024). In Sound of Falling (2025) she played Angelika and won the German Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. She joined the ensemble at Schauspielhaus Zürich for the 2025/2026 season.
