Biography
Leni Lynn (born Angelica Ciofani) was an American actress and contralto singer. Born on 3 May 1923 in Waterbury, Connecticut, she was signed by MGM in 1938 after her high school classmates raised funds to send her to Hollywood.
Her film roles included Dody Martini in Babes in Arms (1939), Edith's Oldest Daughter (uncredited) in The Women (1939), Maurine (uncredited) in I Love You Again (1940) and Judy Merriweather in Hullabaloo (1940). She later appeared in British films such as Heaven Is Round the Corner (1944), Give Me the Stars (1945) and Springtime (1946).
Lynn was married four times; her last husband was composer and conductor Bernard Hoffer. She died on 1 January 2010 in Croton-on-Hudson, New York.
