Biography
Lennert Hillege is a Dutch cinematographer. He trained at the Netherlands Film and Television Academy and has worked extensively in the Netherlands and internationally.
His credits include Stricken (2009), Nova Zembla (2011), Tricked (2012), Prey (2016), The Possession of Hannah Grace (2018), The Forgotten Battle (2021), Occupied City (2023) and Santosh (2024). He has also directed and written the feature Bloody Marie (2019).
Hillege has received multiple Golden Calf awards for Best Camera, including for R U There (2010), Beyond Words (2018) and De Slag om de Schelde (2021). He shot Santosh in rural India under extreme heat conditions.
