Biography
Leo Richardson is a British television writer and producer. Born and raised in south London, he trained as an actor on a scholarship at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. He began his writing career with the play Sht-Mix, which premiered in the West End in 2008 and was later adapted as the BBC Three film Stanley Park* (2010), starring Sharon Horgan.
Richardson wrote multiple episodes of the BBC soap EastEnders between 2014 and 2017. He subsequently moved to the United States, where he contributed to the Fox series Star (2017–2019) as a writer and story editor, and wrote an episode of the CW series Katy Keene (2020).
His later credits include writing episodes of the Netflix series You (2023–2025) and the Hulu series Tell Me Lies (2026). He has also worked as a producer on several of these shows and is developing new series including Keep Your Friends Close for Peacock.
