Biography
Les Sheldon is an American television director, producer and assistant director. Born on 24 October 1942 in Los Angeles, California, he began his career in the late 1960s as an assistant director on feature films including Le Mans (1971) and The Organization (1971).
Sheldon directed episodes of numerous series, among them Beverly Hills, 90210 (1997), Charmed (1998–1999), Dawson's Creek, 7th Heaven and 21 Jump Street. He also worked extensively as a producer on shows such as Wiseguy (1987–1990), Hardcastle and McCormick (1983–1986) and seaQuest DSV (1993–1995). He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for his producing work.
Sheldon has been married to actress Patricia Harty since 1974.
