Biography
Lili Rosen is an American actress and cultural consultant. She played the Rabbi in the Netflix miniseries Unorthodox (2020), for which she also worked as Yiddish translator, language coach and cultural consultant.
Raised in the Hasidic Yiddish-speaking community of Brooklyn, New York, Rosen made her professional stage debut in a production of God of Vengeance. Subsequent screen roles include appearances in SHTTL (2022) and Minyan (2020). She wrote, produced and starred in the short film The Binding of Itzik.
Rosen received an AFI Award in connection with Unorthodox and a SFFILM Rainin Development Grant for The Binding of Itzik. She has written and performed the solo show The Second Circumcision of Lili Rosen.
