Biography
Lilit Lesser is a British actor, also credited as Lily Lesser or Lev Lesser. They are the child of actor Anton Lesser and trained at the École internationale de théâtre Jacques Lecoq, Carnesky’s Radical Cabaret School and the National Youth Theatre.
Lesser played Lady Mary, later Princess Mary, in the BBC series Wolf Hall (2015–2024). Other television credits include Aurelia in Domina (2021–2023), Asus in Moonhaven (2022) and a role in The Queen’s Gambit (2020). Film work includes Angie in Medusa Deluxe (2022). They have also appeared in numerous stage productions, including Macbeth at the Bridge Theatre and The Dybbuk at the Almeida.
