Biography
Lily Romanelli, also credited as Lilli Romanelli, was an Italian actress and singer. Born Rachele Pensa on 20 October 1930 in Naples, she died on 22 November 2021 in Fonte Nuova.
She began her career in Neapolitan theatre, performing with revue companies including those of Macario, Totò and Nino Taranto. She was the daughter of dialect actress Olga Romanelli and the sister of actress and singer Ria De Simone.
Romanelli appeared in films including Cerasella (1959), Purple Noon (1960) as the housekeeper, and Totòtruffa '62 (1961). She also featured in the 1955 television production of Miseria e nobiltà.
