Biography
Lina Romay (born Rosa María Almirall Martínez) was a Spanish actress and editor. She appeared in more than one hundred films, the majority directed by Jesús Franco, often under pseudonyms including Candy Coster and Lulu Laverne. She also worked as an editor, assistant director and writer on several productions.
Romay was credited as editor on Don Quixote (1992). Among the films in which she acted are Female Vampire (1975), The Hot Nights of Linda (1975), Barbed Wire Dolls (1976), Jack the Ripper (1976), Greta, the Mad Butcher (1977) and Faceless (1988). She and Franco lived together for nearly four decades and married in 2008.
