Biography
Linda Ferri is an Italian screenwriter and author. Born in Rome in 1957, she studied political science in Paris, philosophy at Columbia University in New York, and philosophy of history in Florence. She has worked as a translator and editor of foreign literature.
Ferri co-wrote the screenplay for Nanni Moretti's The Son's Room (2001), which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes. Her other screenwriting credits include Light of My Eyes (2001) and La vita che vorrei (2004) with Giuseppe Piccioni, and Along the Ridge (2006) with Kim Rossi Stuart. She has also published novels and short stories, including Incantesimi (1997) and Cecilia (2009), as well as children's books.
