Biography
Line Noro (born Aline Simone Noro) was a French stage and film actress. She was born on 22 February 1900 in Houdelaincourt, Meuse, and died on 4 November 1985 in Paris.
She worked in the theatre with Jacques Copeau, Charles Dullin and Louis Jouvet, and was a pensionnaire of the Comédie-Française from 1945 to 1966. In film she appeared in around fifty productions between the late 1920s and the mid-1950s, including Pépé le Moko (1937) as Inès, The Well-Digger's Daughter (1940) as Marie Mazel and It Happened at the Inn (1943) as Marie des Goupi.
She was married to the director André Berthomieu until his death in 1960. Sight problems led her to retire from stage and screen in the 1960s.
