Biography
Lionel Coleman is an American television and film director. He began his career as a cameraman at CBS News, where he worked on documentary storytelling, before moving into commercials and episodic television. He is an alumnus of the CBS Diversity Director Program.
Coleman has directed multiple episodes of NCIS (2003) and its spin-offs NCIS: New Orleans (2014) and NCIS: Hawaiʻi (2021), as well as episodes of All Rise (2019), God Friended Me (2018), Tracker (2024), Elsbeth (2024) and Power Book III: Raising Kanan (2021). His short film These Final Hours (2021) won several festival awards and received an NAACP Image Award nomination.
