Biography
Liz Blood is a writer from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She began her television career as a writers' assistant on seasons two and three of the FX series Reservation Dogs and season one of The Lowdown.
Her first writing credit was co-writing the season-one finale of The Lowdown (2025) with Sterlin Harjo. She is a staff writer on the series' second season. Blood has also published essays and journalism in outlets including Oklahoma Today and Cimarron Review, and she edits and publishes the local magazine Pokeweed.
She holds a BA in English from Westminster College and an MFA in creative writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Blood is co-founder of the Tulsa-based publisher Okiebug and has received the Tulsa Artist Fellowship's Arts Integration Award.
