Biography
Louisa Rose is an American screenwriter and writer. She studied at Sarah Lawrence College, where she completed an MFA in theatre, and worked in New York City for the first twenty years of her adult life.
She collaborated with Brian De Palma on the story and script for Sisters (1972), which formed her master’s thesis, and on the early drafts of Phantom of the Paradise (originally titled Phantom of the Fillmore). She received a writing credit on the 1974 film only as uncredited. Her other screen credit is the 1979 film Monique.
