Biography
Louise Latham was an American actress. Born Johnie Louise Latham on 23 September 1922 in Hamilton, Texas, she died on 12 February 2018 in Montecito, California. She made her film debut as Bernice Edgar in Alfred Hitchcock's Marnie (1964).
Latham began her career on stage, appearing in a 1956 Broadway revival of Major Barbara and in Invitation to a March (1960) and Isle of Children (1962). Most of her work was in television, with guest roles in series including Perry Mason, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Hawaii Five-O, Columbo, Murder, She Wrote, Designing Women and The X-Files. She also appeared in the final episode of The Fugitive (1967) and in films such as The Sugarland Express (1974), Mass Appeal (1984) and Love Field (1992).
