Biography
Lucille Bremer was an American actress and dancer. She was born on 21 February 1917 in Amsterdam, New York, and died on 16 April 1996 in La Jolla, California.
Bremer began her career as a dancer, appearing as a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall and in Broadway shows including Panama Hattie (1940). She made her screen debut as Rose Smith in the MGM musical Meet Me in St. Louis (1944). She followed this with leading roles in Yolanda and the Thief (1945) and featured dance sequences in Ziegfeld Follies (1946), as well as appearances in Till the Clouds Roll By (1946) and Behind Locked Doors (1948).
After marrying Abelardo Luis Rodriguez in 1948, Bremer retired from acting.
