Biography
Lucy Phelps is a British actor. She trained at LAMDA, where she performed at the Tricycle Theatre, the Globe and the Royal Court, as well as at the school’s in-house theatre. Before drama school she gained a Double Starred First in French and Spanish from the University of Exeter.
Phelps is known for her television roles, including DC Jess Lombard in the crime drama The Chelsea Detective (2022–). Other credits include Saskia Cobb in Grace (2022), Laura Milne in DI Ray (2022), and appearances in Midsomer Murders, Call the Midwife, New Tricks, Holby City and The Coroner. On stage she has performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company, playing Isabella in Measure for Measure (2019) and Rosalind in As You Like It (2019).
