Biography
Macarena García de la Camacha Gutiérrez-Ambrossi is a Spanish actress. She was born on 26 April 1988 in Madrid and studied psychology at the Autonomous University of Madrid before focusing on acting.
She made her film debut in the leading role of Carmen/Blancanieves in Pablo Berger's Blancanieves (2012). For the performance she received the Goya Award for Best New Actress and the Silver Shell for Best Actress at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. She has since appeared in films including Palm Trees in the Snow (2015), Holy Camp! (2017) and A House on Fire (2024), and in series such as The Ministry of Time and La Mesías.
She is the sister of director and actor Javier Ambrossi, with whom she has collaborated on stage and screen projects including Holy Camp! and La Mesías.
