Biography
Madeleine Worrall is a Scottish actress. Born in 1977 in Edinburgh, she was educated at the Mary Erskine School and was a member of the National Youth Music Theatre. She studied History of Art at the University of Cambridge from 1995 to 1998 and trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2000.
Worrall has worked extensively in theatre, including productions at the National Theatre such as Jane Eyre (2015) and Peter Pan (2017), as well as West End and regional stages. Her screen credits include the role of Agatha Clyde in Paddington (2014), Melanie in Bunny and the Bull (2009), Kala in The Legend of Tarzan (2016), and appearances in television series including Endeavour (2013), Call the Midwife (2012) and Disclaimer (2024). She also performs as lead vocalist with the folk ensemble the Greenhouse Band.
