Biography
Magnus Martens is a Norwegian director and screenwriter. He was born on 25 April 1973 in Stord, Norway.
Martens wrote and directed the feature film Jackpot (2011), adapted from a story by Jo Nesbø. The film screened at the Tribeca Film Festival. He has since directed episodes of television series including Banshee (2015), 12 Monkeys (2015–2016), Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2016), Marvel's Luke Cage (2016), Good Behavior (2016–2017), Fear the Walking Dead (2018) and The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2020).
His later feature films include SAS: Red Notice (2021, also known as SAS: Rise of the Black Swan) and There's Something in the Barn (2023). He has also directed episodes of the series Furia (2021–2023).
