Biography
Maia Jae Bastidas, also credited as Maia Jae or Maia Bastidas, is a Canadian actor. She was born on 18 March 1998 in Toronto, Ontario, and has a twin sister, Keana Lyn Bastidas, who is also an actor. She began acting as a child and studied Theatre Arts and Media Production, with a minor in Spanish, at a university in Toronto.
Bastidas is known for recurring roles as Justine Garcia in the series Gen V (2023–2025) and Eliza Wells in Rabbit Hole (2023). She appeared as Letty Acosta in High Potential (2024) and has credits in Mayor of Kingstown (2021), Rabbit Hole (2023), Wayward (2025) and the film Ready or Not: Here I Come (2026). Her short film Thumbs (2016) screened at the Toronto International Film Festival's NextWave Showcase. She has been recognised at the Banff World Media Festival's Women in Media and Diversity of Voices programmes.
