Biography
Malik Akhlaqi is an Afghan actor and musician, also credited as Malek Akhlaqi and under the name Malikdelha. Born in 1994 in Daikundi, Afghanistan, he moved with his family to Kabul in 2003. He made his acting debut at the age of nine in Siddiq Barmak's Osama (2003), appearing in a voice role.
Akhlaqi studied journalism at Kabul University. His subsequent film roles include Earth and Ashes (2004, directed by Atiq Rahimi), Zolykha's Secret (2006), The Patience Stone (2012, also directed by Atiq Rahimi), Hava, Maryam, Ayesha (2019), and Leila's Brothers (2022). He has also worked with Iranian directors on films about Afghanistan following his emigration to Iran in 2019. As a musician, he has released albums including Mahi-Gham and Mahi-Alam Soz.
