Biography

Manoshi Nath is an Indian costume designer who works extensively in Hindi cinema. She collaborates with creative partner Rushi Sharma; the pair co-founded Fools’ Paradise Designworks Pvt Ltd in 2007.

They began their feature-film work with Dibakar Banerjee’s Khosla Ka Ghosla (2006) and Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! (2008), the latter earning them a Filmfare Award for Best Costume Design. Subsequent credits include Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai (2010), Shanghai (2012), Talaash (2012), Queen (2013), PK (2014), Kick (2014), Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015) and Shamshera (2022). They received a second Filmfare Award for Shanghai and the ELLE Mindful Design Award in 2023 for sustainable practices.

Nath and Sharma are noted for their emphasis on sustainability and ethical sourcing in costume design, and Nath has served as a mentor and visiting faculty at the Film and Television Institute of India.
