Biography
Manuel Cauchi is a Maltese actor. Born in Melbourne in 1954, he trained at the Piccolo Teatro di Milano and has worked extensively in theatre and screen roles.
He is known for appearances in films including Troy (2004) as the Old Spartan Fisherman, Agora (2009) as Theophilus, Kon-Tiki (2012) as Jose Bustamente, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016) as Fahreed, and Paul, Apostle of Christ (2018) as Ananias. Television credits include Medici (2018) as Pope Paul II. Cauchi has also received awards for voice work, including Best Voice Over at the Oniros Film Awards in 2018.
