Biography
Manuel Morón is a Spanish actor born on 9 June 1956 in Cádiz. He trained at the Instituto Dramático de Sevilla and the Carlos Gandolfo Drama Academy, and also studied with Juan Carlos Corazza.
He is known for his role as Doctor 1 in Pedro Almodóvar’s All About My Mother (1999) and as Mariano in El Bola (2000). Other film credits include Cell 211 (2009) as Ernesto Almansa, Dark Blue Almost Black (2006), Seven Years (2016) and Advantages of Travelling by Train (2019). On television he has appeared in La que se avecina (2007) as Gervasio Chacón, The Plague (2018) as Arquímedes and Patria (2020) as Herminio.
Morón has received six awards and eight nominations, including for his work in El Traje (2002) and the ensemble cast of Smoking Room (2002).
