Biography
Marc Michel (also credited as Max Ernest Marie Michaux) was a French-Swiss actor. He appeared in more than fifty films and television productions between 1955 and 2016.
He trained at the Cours Simon in Paris. Michel was noted for his role as Claude Gaspard in Jacques Becker's Le Trou (1960) and for playing Roland Cassard in Jacques Demy's Lola (1961) and The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964). He also appeared in films including Bebo's Girl (1964) and Model Shop (1969), as well as numerous television series and telefilms.
Michel was born in Basse-Terre, Guadeloupe, and died in Dreux, France, in 2016. He was married to Liv Knutsen.
