Biography
Marcel Lucien (1902–1958) was a French cinematographer. He began working as a director of photography in the mid-1920s and contributed to around forty films over the following decades.
Lucien collaborated with Jean Renoir on several productions between 1928 and 1932, including Boudu Saved from Drowning (1932), where he served as lighting cameraman. He later worked frequently with Christian-Jaque in the late 1930s. Among his other notable credits is The Story of a Cheat (1936).
