Biography
Marcelle Hainia (also credited as Marcelle Pontagnier) was a French stage and film actress. Born Marcelle Pontagnier on 13 November 1896 in Paris, she died there on 9 August 1968.
She made her screen debut as Emma Lestingois in Jean Renoir's Boudu Saved from Drowning (1932). Her other film roles include Goupi-Cancan in It Happened at the Inn (1943), a part in Antoine & Antoinette (1947), and Fredo's wife in Rififi (1955). She appeared in supporting roles in more than twenty films between 1932 and 1968.
