Biography
Marcelo Vignali is an American animator, art director and production designer. He began his career in visual development and character design at Walt Disney Feature Animation and Walt Disney Imagineering before moving to Sony Pictures Animation.
He served as production designer on Hotel Transylvania (2012) and art director on Surf's Up (2007) and Smurfs: The Lost Village (2017). His visual development credits include Brother Bear (2003), Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009), Vivo (2021) and work on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018).
Vignali was born on 4 February 1965. He received Annie Award nominations for production design on Hotel Transylvania and Surf's Up.
