Biography
Marcin Macuk is a Polish composer, musician and music producer. Born on 20 April 1976 in Szczecin, he began his career in the 1990s as a multi-instrumentalist and producer, working with bands including Snuz (under the name Emma Cuk), Pogodno and as an early bassist with Hey. He has produced albums and collaborated with artists such as Katarzyna Nosowska, Monika Brodka and Kora.
Macuk has composed scores for numerous films and television series. His credits include Demon (2015), The Silent Twins (2022) and Just One Look (2025). He frequently collaborates with director Agnieszka Smoczyńska, scoring both The Silent Twins and Hot Spot (2026), the latter with Zuzanna Wrońska. In 2026 he and Wrońska received the award for best music at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia for their work on Hot Spot.
