Biography
Marco Hofschneider is a German actor. He was born in Berlin on 18 October 1969 and trained in acting in Berlin and Paris. His career began with the lead role of Salomon 'Sally' Perel in Agnieszka Holland's Europa Europa (1990). His older brother, René Hofschneider, also appears in the film.
Hofschneider has since worked in German and international film and television. Notable credits include Immortal Beloved (1994), The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996), Urban Legends: Final Cut (2000) and Luther (2003). He has also performed on stage, including roles in productions of Romeo and Juliet and The Seagull.
