Biography
Marco Mak Chi-Sin is a Hong Kong film editor and director. He began working in the industry in the 1970s and has credits as editor on more than 100 films.
He edited Once Upon a Time in China (1991) and its sequels Once Upon a Time in China II (1992) and Once Upon a Time in China III (1993), as well as Iron Monkey (1993), Twin Dragons (1992) and Knock Off (1998). Mak has also directed films including The Blood Rules (2000), Love Correction (2000) and A Gambler's Story (2001).
Born in Hong Kong in 1951, he has worked extensively with director Tsui Hark and received a Hong Kong Film Award for Best Film Editing for Once Upon a Time in China.
