Biography
Maren Schmitt is a German producer of film and television. She is credited as producer on the feature Sound of Falling (2025), directed by Mascha Schilinski.
In 2019 she completed a Master's degree at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. With her sister she founded the production company Sailor's Yarn, through which she produced the documentary Adelheid, Kornelius & die Töde (2018).
Schmitt works at Studio Zentral, a production subsidiary of ZDF Studios, where she has also produced the series Wir (2021–2023, also known as All About Us) and the feature Every You Every Me (2024), often in collaboration with Lucas Schmidt.
