Biography
Maggie Blye was an American actress, sometimes credited as Margaret Blye or Margaret Bly. She appeared in the 1967 Western Hombre as Doris Blake, alongside Paul Newman.
Blye studied at the University of Texas before transferring to UCLA, where she was spotted by a talent agent. Her early film roles included an uncredited part in Summer and Smoke (1961). She later appeared in The Italian Job (1969) as Lorna and Hard Times (1975) as Gayleen Schoonover.
Her television credits included guest roles in series such as Perry Mason, Gunsmoke, The Rockford Files and Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. She died on 24 March 2016 in West Hollywood, California. Her sister was casting director Judy Blye Wilson.
