Biography
Mari Aldon, also credited as Marija Aldona Pauliutė, was a Lithuanian-born American actress. She made her screen debut in a minor uncredited role in The Locket (1946) and appeared in supporting parts in films including Distant Drums (1951) as Judy Beckett and The Barefoot Contessa (1954) as Myrna.
She had further roles in Summertime (1955) as Phyl Yaeger and several other features before moving primarily to television work. Aldon trained as a ballet dancer and performed on stage and radio before entering films. She was married to director Tay Garnett from 1953 until his death in 1977.
