Biography
Maria Katarina is a Toronto-based costume designer and creative researcher. She has a background in fine art and fashion design. Her work includes the feature films Blue Heron (2025, directed by Sophy Romvari) and 100 Sunset (2025, directed by Kunsang Kyirong), as well as video work for Debby Friday’s album The Starrr of the Queen of Life (2025). Earlier credits encompass shorts such as I Thought the World of You (2022) and Outburst (2025), and wardrobe department roles on Mongrels (2024).
