Biography
Maria Pareja is a Spanish art director, concept artist and production designer working in animation. She graduated from U-tad university in Madrid in 2018 and has worked at studios including Cartoon Saloon in Kilkenny, where she is based.
She served as art director and scene illustrator on the feature Wolfwalkers (2020), for which she shared an Annie Award for Best Production Design, an Irish Animation Award for Best Art Direction and a Reuben Award. Her other credits include background design on Belle (2021) and work on Star Wars: Visions (2021).
