Biography
María Ucedo is an Argentine actress and dancer. She was born on 3 May 1968 in Buenos Aires.
Ucedo was one of the founders of the dance-theatre company El Descueve, which received a Konex award in 2009. She began her acting career in television in 2002 and made her mark in film with a role in El otro (2007), for which she received a Cóndor de Plata nomination.
She is known for her performances in Juan y Eva (2011), The Two Popes (2019) as Esther Ballestrino, and The Wailing (2024) as Madre Camila. Ucedo has also appeared in numerous other films and television series.
