Biography
Marie-José Sanselme is a French screenwriter. She studied literature and served as cultural attaché at the French Embassy in Tel Aviv from 1994 to 1998.
Sanselme has collaborated with Israeli director Amos Gitai since Kippur (2000), co-writing the screenplays for Eden (2001), Kedma (2002), Alila (2003), Promised Land (2004), Free Zone (2005), Disengagement (2007), Roses à crédit (2010), Ana Arabia (2013), Tsili (2014), Rabin, the Last Day (2015), A Tramway in Jerusalem (2018), Laila in Haifa (2020) and Shikun (2024). She also contributed to the segment "Israel" in September 11 (2002).
