Biography
Marisa Ramirez is an American actress. She was born on 15 September 1977 in Los Angeles, California.
Ramirez began her career in modelling at the age of 13 before moving into acting. She attended Ramona Convent Secondary School in Alhambra, California. Her early television work included guest roles and a contract part as Gia Campbell on the soap opera General Hospital (2000–2002).
She is known for her role as Melitta in the Starz miniseries Spartacus: Gods of the Arena (2011) and for playing Detective Maria Baez on the CBS series Blue Bloods (2013–2024). Other credits include appearances in The Mentalist (2008), Bones (2011), Castle (2009) and Rizzoli & Isles (2010).
