Biography
Marissa Neitling is an American actress. Born on 8 May 1984 in Lake Oswego, Oregon, she graduated from Lake Oswego High School in 2002 and earned a BA from the University of Oregon, where she double-majored in mathematics and theatre arts. She later obtained an MFA in acting from the Yale School of Drama.
Neitling first appeared on screen in the 2007 film The Go-Getter. She had a guest role in the series Leverage in 2011 and played Phoebe in the 2015 film San Andreas. Her most prominent role was as Lt. Kara Foster (later Green) in the TNT series The Last Ship (2014–2018), appearing in all five seasons. She has also guest-starred in Elementary (2018) and Madam Secretary (2018–2019).
