Biography
Mark Burnell is a novelist and screenwriter. He was born in Northumberland and grew up in Brazil before returning to Britain.
His debut novel, The Rhythm Section, is the first in the Stephanie Patrick thriller series and was adapted into a 2020 film, for which Burnell wrote the screenplay. Subsequent novels in the series include Chameleon, Gemini and The Third Woman.
