Biography
Mark Critch is a Canadian comedian, actor and writer. Born in St John's, Newfoundland, he began performing in sketch comedy as a teenager and first appeared on television at the Halifax Comedy Festival.
He joined the writing team of the satirical series This Hour Has 22 Minutes in 2002 and became a regular cast member from 2003. Critch is also known for his film roles as Henry Tilley in The Grand Seduction (2013) and as Gary Bettman in BlackBerry (2023). He created and stars in the series Son of a Critch (2022–).
