Biography
Marlon Williams is a New Zealand singer-songwriter, guitarist and actor. Born on 31 December 1990 in Christchurch and raised in Lyttelton, he first came to attention as frontman of The Unfaithful Ways and through his collaborative work with Delaney Davidson. He has also performed solo and with his backing group the Yarra Benders.
Williams made his feature film debut in The Rehearsal (2016). In 2018 he appeared as himself in A Star Is Born, after being personally cast by director Bradley Cooper. He later played George King in True History of the Kelly Gang (2019) and Johnny Abbot in the Netflix series Sweet Tooth (2021–2023). He is of Ngāi Tahu and Ngāi Tai descent.
