Biography
Marta Etura is a Spanish actress. Born on 28 October 1978 in San Sebastián, she studied at the French Lyceum there before moving to Madrid, where she trained at the acting school run by Cristina Rota. She made her feature-film debut in No Shame (2001).
Etura is known for her roles in Cell 211 (2009), for which she won the Goya Award for Best Supporting Actress; Sleep Tight (2011); The Invisible Guardian (2017) and its sequels as Amaia Salazar; and The Impossible (2012) as Simone. She has also appeared in EVA (2011), Dark Blue Almost Black (2006) and Smoke & Mirrors (2016), and has worked in theatre.
