Biography
Martin Hollý was a Slovak actor and theatre director. He appeared in a small number of films, most notably as Imro Kuchár in The Shop on Main Street (1965).
Hollý worked in radio from the 1930s and later as an actor and director at theatres including the Slovak National Uprising Theatre in Martin and the Peter Jilemnický Theatre in Žilina. He was the father of film director Martin Hollý.
