Biography
Marwan Kenzari is a Dutch actor of Tunisian descent. He graduated from the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2009 and began acting in Dutch films and television from 2008, later joining Toneelgroep Amsterdam.
He first came to prominence for his leading role in the 2013 film Wolf, winning the Golden Calf for Best Actor. Since 2016 he has appeared in English-language films and series, including Ben-Hur (2016), Murder on the Orient Express (2017), Aladdin (2019) as Jafar, The Old Guard (2020) as Yusuf Al-Kaysani, Black Adam (2022) and The Night Agent (2023).
