Biography
Mary Ann Nyberg was an American costume designer. She worked on several Hollywood films in the early 1950s.
Her credits include Lili (1953), The Band Wagon (1953), A Star Is Born (1954), Carmen Jones (1954) and The Man with the Golden Arm (1955), on which she served as costume supervisor. She received Academy Award nominations for Best Costume Design – Color for The Band Wagon and A Star Is Born.
Nyberg was born on 7 February 1923 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and died on 19 September 1979 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
